#4 -- revisiting my childhood

Today was the day I rediscovered my CHILDHOOD.

First off, last week I bought some cleats for the upcoming frisbee intramural season, and the shoes finally came in today! When I got my package, the box looked a little big smaller than expected, but nonetheless, I was psyched. However, joy soon turned to sorrow when I found that I had ordered a size 12 YOUTH, rather than ADULT. Hahahahaha. Nevertheless, the little itty bitty shoes gave me quite a walk down memory lane, to perhaps days when I could fit into those shoes. Now, my hand is bigger than the shoe itself...

The second instance was during Kwang's birthday "surprise." Esther Kwak and I began playing with my stuffed Tamagotchis and Domo. I don't know what got into the two of us, but it was like I used to do with Ben all the time. Perhaps it was the tiredness and delirium, but it reminded me of just the kid I used to be. It made me quite happy.

I guess in the end, it's crazy to see how far I've come, physically, spiritually, emotionally. Thank You for being there every step of the way.

"So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture." (John 10:7-9)
